Privacy Policy

The SPIRIT-AI and CONSORT-AI Working Group value your privacy.

The SPIRIT-AI and CONSORT-AI Working Group ("us", "we", or "our") operates http://www.clinical-trials.ai (the "Site"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection and use of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site. We do not ask for disclosure of any Personal Information when using this Site. We do not use cookies, personalised advertisements or affiliate links that may track our visitors. We use any Personal Information only for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Like many site operators, we collect rudimentary information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We will endeavour to delete these logs regularly, no longer than 1 year after the date of visit.

The security of this data is important to us, but remember that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect this data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We may also need to disclose Personal Information when required by law, court order or other legal process, or if we determine that disclosure is necessary for law enforcement or other issues of public importance.

Many recent web browsers include a "Do-Not-Track" feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing these signals has been finalised. As such, we do not currently respond to such signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information does not include aggregated, non-personally identifying information that does not identify a User or cannot otherwise be reasonably linked or connected with them. We may use such aggregated, non-personally identifying information for research purposes and to operate, analyze, improve, and optimise the Site.

Our site invokes widely-used third-party libraries including jQuery, Bootstrap, Popper and Fontawesome. Our Site also contains links to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the security, content and practices of these libraries and sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of 9th September 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page. We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by placing a prominent notice on the Site.

If you have previously contacted us but you no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from us, you may send us an email to opt-out of further contact.

Your continued use of our Site will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any questions or concerns about this privacy policy, please contact us at contact@clinical-trials.ai.
